Privacy Policy for AirGlue

This Privacy Policy explains how the AirGlue application ("the App") handles user information. Your privacy is a top priority for us. For this reason, AirGlue is designed to work entirely offline and to keep all data locally on your Mac. We do not collect any personal data.

1. Data processed and permissions

To provide its features, AirGlue processes the following data solely on your device:

• Clipboard content: the App reads what you copy to the clipboard in order to build your history and to run conversions (for example JSON, Base64, hashes, QR codes). This content is stored only on your Mac.
• Global shortcuts: to open the clipboard history and the converters from any application, the system may request permission for keyboard shortcuts/accessibility. This permission is used only to detect the key combination you choose.

AirGlue is a sandboxed application distributed through the Mac App Store and does not require any account or registration.

2. How we use your data

All data generated or processed by the App (clipboard history, text, images, and conversion results) remains exclusively on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store any of this data on external servers. We do not track your use of the App and do not use any third-party analytics or advertising within the App.

3. In-app purchases

AirGlue is free and offers an optional in-app purchase ("AirGlue Pro") to unlock advanced features. Purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the StoreKit framework and the App Store: AirGlue does not see, collect, or store any payment information. The processing of such information is subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.

4. Sharing data with third parties

Because AirGlue does not collect any personal data on its own servers, we do not share, sell, or transfer any information to third parties. Any data you export or copy (for example the result of a conversion) is controlled solely by you.

5. Data security and retention

The security of your data within AirGlue depends on the security of your Mac. We recommend protecting your device with a password and the security features of the operating system. History is stored locally until you decide to delete it and, in the free version, is limited to the most recent items.

6. Your rights

As the sole holder of the data generated by the App, you have full control over it. You can delete individual items or the entire history at any time directly from the AirGlue interface, or permanently remove all data by uninstalling the application from your device.

7. Changes to this Policy

We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy when new features are introduced. Any changes will be indicated by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this document.
